Social Work

Jan is our Social worker Gold Coast Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation and with in excess of 20 years in many different aspects of the health industry she’s a wealth of knowledge. Her role is to support our clients to function and remain in the community inline with their goals and wellbeing.

Social Work can help with the following:

• Health education and advice
• Early intervention for at-risk individuals
• Referrals to health and community services
• Individual and family support and counselling
• Information on advocacy rights
• Help finding suitable accomodation
• Help with organising financial responsibilities for clients and their families

Jan works both in our beautiful Burleigh Heads Clinic on the sunny Gold Coast, and also does mobile home visits for when getting out and about is just a little too much.

She performs a thorough assessment of your needs/wellbeing and formation of an individualised plan to meet your goals. Jan also provides ongoing support and education around the best resources for you and your family!

DVA – Department of Veteran’s Affairs
NDIS – National Disability Insurance Scheme
